There is some confusion with this census record as someone named Mary, 50, is actually listed as Albert's wife and Cora Fletcher is listed as a lodger. As best we know Cora was always Albert's wife and is buried with him. |
Draft Card WW2 | On his WW2 draft registration card, the fourth registration dated April 27, 1942, Albert, listing his age as 53, wrote that he worked for US Steel at 71 Broadway, NY, NY. He also wrote that Susette Whitney, his mother of the same address, would know his whereabouts. and that he lived at 1422 East 27th Street, Brooklyn, Kings County, NY. |
