Miss Margaret C. Davis, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Davis, formerly of 9 Harrison street, Gloversville, and now of New York city, and Joseph Pfieffer, also of New York, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franz Pfieffer of Germany, were united In marriage July 30 at 3 P. M. at the Marble Collegiate church, Fifth avenue at 29th street.

The Rev. Albert A. Lenlnger performed the ceremony, the full ring ceremony being used.

The bridesmaid was Miss Ruth Fidler of New York and George Meire, also of New York, was the best man.

The bride was gowned in a salmon pink chiffon dress, trimmed with alencon lace, with hat to match. She carried bridal roses. The bridesmaid wore a maize gown and
carried sweet peas. The bride presented her attendant with her gown, and the best man received a wrist watch from the bridegreom.

Mrs. Pfelfter attended the Gloversville schools and was well and favorably known here. Mr. Pfieffer is part owner of a New York restaurant.

After a wedding trip through the western part of the state, they will reside In their newly furnished apartment at 806 Forest avenue, Bronx, New York.

The church at which the wedding was performed Is the oldest existing evangelical Christian church on the continent.
