Miss Marion Rau sister of the bridegroom was maid of honor while Pvt 1st Class Vernam A LaShier of Westover Field, the bride's brother, was best man The bride wore a princess style gown of white satin with beaded yoke and train Her finger-tip veil fell from a high crown and she carried pink roses with baby's breath Her maid of honor wore a gown of pink flowered brocade organdie and carried pink roses and larkspur. A reception followed at the First Baptist parish house where bower of evergreen and mixed flowers was arranged Church decorations were pink gladioli and white hydrangea. Leaving on a wedding trip to Main the bride wore a dark pencil-stripe suit with white accessories. The couple will live on Lyman street Lake Pleasant after July 7. The bride was- educated here graduating from Greenfield high school In 1937 and has been employed at the Millers Falls company The bridegroom was educated in Turners Falls and also is employed by the 'Millers Falls company. |
