Interestingly, Mary seems to be listed twice in the 1920 census. Was she just visiting her parents? While this would appear to be the same person it could be two different people.

1920 US CensusShe was listed as 42 years old and as the daughter of Jacob and Maria Thome on the 1920 Federal Census at Maple Street, Hazardville, CT, and with Frederick Jacob Thome and William Young. Mary was a Clerk in a Meat Market. 
1930 US CensusMary, listed as 53 years old, appeared as the head of household on the 1930 Federal Census of Hazardville, CT, on Maple Street, recorded April 8, 1930. Also living with Mary was her sister in law, Grace, 29 and widowed, and her twin nieces, Mary and an unknown person , 2 years, 1 month old..
